• Helvellyn 950 metres / 3117 feet
• Catstycam 890 metres / 2920 feet

What do I need to bring?
Once you’ve booked you will receive a recommended kit list. The main items though are:
• Waterproof jacket and trousers
• Walking boots
• Lunch (picnic style, no alcohol)
• Water (1L minimum)
• Backpack (to carry lunch etc
• Any personal medication (such as inhaler)
• Hat and gloves
The walks are limited to eight people due to climbing striding edge and are sold on a first come first serve basis. If the day we have selected each month doesn’t work for you or you’d like a private guided walk, please get in touch.
With the severity of striding edge we will only climb it in dry conditions and our guides will make the judgement on the day, we may do an alternative route via Swirral Edge.
