EVER FANCIED STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING THE FULL LENGTH OF ULLSWATER? YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!
Our stand up paddle boarding End to End of Ullswater experience is aimed at people who are complete beginners wanting a ‘unique paddle boarding experience in the Lake District’, those looking for a fun day out with like-minded people doing something a little different or those looking for a fun and exciting challenge.
Relax and take in the views whilst you’re on the Ullswater Steamer, then SUP the full length of Ullswater by your own physical steam.
On arrival our qualified instructor will meet you at our base on the edge Ullswater at Park Foot Holiday Park in Pooley Bridge. Here you will be kitted up with the equipment you’ll need for the challenge.
For this unique experience we have teamed up with Ullswater Steamers, so once we are all ready will have a ten minute walk to embark the Ullswater Steamer. Then for the next hour you will be able to sit back, relax, chat and enjoy the beautiful surrounding views for an hour.
Arriving in to Glenridding you will be given a safety brief and a rough outline of the day before getting on the paddle boards– now the adventure really begins!
Leaving Glenridding our instructor will be on hand to give you top tips and guide along the full length of Ullswater. The scenery is breath taking and you will have hours of time to chat, smile, make memories and become one with your SUP. On route we will stop for lunch and have other opportunities to take a break, soak up the views and stretch the legs. Arriving back at Pooley Bridge with a great sense of pride and achievement, it be rude not have celebratory drink before saying our goodbyes. (optional and not supplied by Alfresco Adventures)
