Running the Yorkshire Three Peaks is a challenge we recommend every marathon runners tries atleast once!
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile circular route and the official challenge time is to complete it within 12 hours, on our ‘Run the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge’ the aim time is to complete within 7 hours.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks are:
• Pen-y-Ghent 694m
• Whernside 763m
• Ingleborough 723m
There is the Yorkshire Three Peaks Race which takes place every year on the last weekend of April, the entry criteria is quite strict and it sells out very quick. It’s named ‘The Marathon with Mountains’ and has been run every year since 1954.
Did you know the record was set in 1996 by Bingley Harriers runner Andy Peace with a time of two hours forty six minutes and it still stands as the record today!
We offer a fully guided bespoke Yorkshire Three Peaks running events meaning you can out your energy in to running, leaving the navigating to us. We have a minimum booking number/ charge of four participants for run a private trip to go ahead. We don’t provide a support vehicle or any accommodation in this package but if you give us a call we can discuss accommodation and vehicle support for you.
