Our stand up paddle board experience is ideal for people who have never tried stand up paddle boarding and want to learn the basic skills, or just have a go. It is fun, safe and everybody needs to try it at least once!
Throughout the session, we will cover launching the board safely, paddling kneeling down, paddling standing up and turning the board whilst going on a little adventure on the lake to test your newly learnt skills.
In addition to the stand up paddle boards and paddle, we provide:
- Buoyancy aid
- Wetsuit
- Cag (a protective layer helping to keep you dry, trap heat and reduce wind chill)
Please note that some of our venues don’t have facilities such as changing rooms or hot showers. At our main sites, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire and Ullswater, Pooley Bridge have changing facilities with hot showers.
