Our stand up paddle board experience with your dog is ideal for people who have never tried stand up paddle boarding or just have fun morning or afternoon with their pooch.
The session will start with you having a go without your dog, so you can get to grips with stand up paddle boarding. We will spend some time on dry land introducing the stand up paddle board to your dog, before getting on the water. We will then cover launching the board safely with you dog, paddling kneeling down with your dog, paddling standing up and turning the board with your dog, whilst going on a little adventure on the lake to test your newly learnt skills and give a memorable experience to your best friend.
The session is all about having a safe, fun experience for you and your dog. You and your dog can join in on the stand up paddle boarding wherever you feel comfortable to do so.
In addition to the stand-up paddle boards and paddle, we provide:
• Buoyancy aid
• Wetsuit
• Cag (a protective layer helping to keep you dry, trap heat and reduce wind chill)
Please note that some of our venues don’t have facilities such as changing rooms or hot showers. At our main site, Ellerton Park it has changing facilities with hot showers.
